Working For Crossroads
In all our dealings with carers, people with care needs, our employees and our volunteers, we promise that we will:-
- treat every person with dignity and respect
- help each individual to exercise freedom of choice and maintain their independence.
- be flexible in the meeting individual needs
- fully involve and consult everyone involved
- respect each individual’s privacy and personal choice is respect of their lifestyle, customs, culture, values and spiritual beliefs
- promote equal opportunity regardless of race, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, age, ethnic origin, disability or religion
- work in partnership with other organisations to promote the interests of carers and develop new services.
All our carer support workers are trained to meet individual needs and follow nationally agreed standards and quality assurance systems.
We apply rigorous recruitment and vetting procedures including enhanced criminal disclosure checks to try to ensure that we employ only suitable staff. Clients who receive our services should be confident that they are supported by a highly trained and qualified team of management staff and carer support workers.
