My Life Club

My life club is for Young Carers, run by Liverpool Crossroads Caring for Carers. The main aim is to give Young Carers the chance to enjoy the experience of growing up and giving them time away from caring for somebody close to them.

Young Carers are people up to the age of 19 who care for a parent, grandparent, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew or a family friend.

These young people often suffer physical and emotional stress and lose out on time to be with their friends, or to go to school, college or work.

There are an estimated 1,000 Young Carers in the Liverpool area. We are trying to identify and support them.
